The Michigan Animal Adoption Network (MAAN) is a registered 501(c)3 rescue organization. Since its 1994 inception, MAAN has been dedicated to rescuing and caring for cats and dogs throughout metro Detroit.
Adopting A Friend
If interested in adopting an animal, please call or e-mail and request an adoption application. Applications can also be downloaded from our website: www.mi-aan.org. Once the application is complete, please e-mail it back to us. Completing an application does not obligate the applicant in any way. It is simply the first step in the adoption process.
Our Animal Care Network Program
The Animal Care Network (ACN) consists of dedicated teams of volunteers who visit low-income areas to assist outdoor animals in need. ACN volunteers provide doghouses, straw, food and water in clean bowls, collars, tie-out chains and more. The teams aggressively advocate spaying and neutering. ACN supplies are either donated or paid for by the volunteers.

Donate old electronics through Recycling for Charities.
Donating your old cell phones, PDAs, iPods, or digital cameras can help us continue our mission of helping animals. Recycling for Charities is a non-profit organization that is collaborating with us. When you donate eligible equipment, Michigan Animal Adoption Network receives much needed funds that helps us continue with our lifesaving work.
